Dear Aviation Professionals,

It is with great pleasure we invite you to Solakonferansen 2026, hosted by Stiftelsen Solakonfeansen (The Solakonferansen Foundation). This event will take place from September 21st to 23rd at the Clarion Hotel Air, conveniently located near Stavanger Airport, Sola, Norway.

 

Solakonferansen is dedicated to elevating the standards of flight safety, quality assurance, and environmental responsibility in aviation. The conference will focus on the following key priorities:

  • Total Defense: How does the new national defense strategies in Europe which include civil, military and social resources affect the aviation sector.

  • Attracting New Talent: Addressing pilot and technician shortages to sustain a safe and reliable aviation sector.

  • Enhancing Safety: Strengthening offshore aviation safety, with a focus on industries such as Oil & Gas, fisheries, and wind farms.

  • Advanced Air Mobility Integration: Seamless Entry Intro Service (EIS) of Advanced Air Mobility systems, such as Vertical take-off and Landing (VTOL), Remotely Piloted- (RPAS) and Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS).

  • Sustainability: Promoting eco-friendly practices and exploring advanced technologies and new fuels.

 

Engage with industry leaders, regulators, operators, and stakeholders at this event to share insights and drive meaningful advancements in aviation safety and sustainability.

 

Key Highlights of Solakonferansen 2026

  • Bring a Junior: This year, we are introducing a new initiative for the conference: everyone can bring a junior from their own company at a discounted rate.
