Nordic Unmanned & Avinor’s
DRONE SAFETY SUMMIT 2023

18 September

A meeting place for professionals striving
to improve safety in the drone industry

You are hereby cordially invited by Chairman of the Board of Stiftelsen Solakonferansen, Øivind Solberg:
Solakonferansen remains fully committed in our work to promote aviation safety by once again inviting the aviation
industry to share thoughts, discuss opportunities, and enhance aviation standards during our annual conference.

Whether you are representing a helicopter manufacturer, regulatory body, operator, the end user, or simply have a
genuine interest in aviation safety, we trust you will find the conference an excellent opportunity to grow your
network and be a part of making aviation a little bit safer going forward.
This year we have asked the helicopter manufacturers to focus on how they contribute to sustainable and safe
operations within their segment. The energy industry segment as a whole have a focus on sustainability and many
initiatives are already in place to minimize any environmental impact, the offshore helicopter industry must play it’s
part and advance technology, operations and procedures to improve both safety and sustainability.

The conference for 2023 will be a three-day event kicking off with the Nordic Unmanned and Avinor Drone Safety
Summit on day one. The two following days dedicated to aviation safety looking at offshore helicopter operations
and wind farm operations. We will cover human factors and initiatives looking at the maintenance of helicopters.
We will also hear from important stakeholders like the IOGP Aviation Sub-Committee chair and the CEO of
HeliOffshore.

The Sola Conference Foundation work hard to ensure that Solakonferansen remains a focal point for aviation
safety within the industry. We hope that you will join our efforts and be at the conference this year. It is a great
opportunity to engage with colleagues and take part in the discussions, all in the interest of promoting a safer
industry. We look forward to welcoming you in September 2023 for three eventful days!
